Hospital Products

My husband and I have designed a product to help parents feel more comfortable and confident while doing skin to skin (aka. Kangaroo Care) with their babies in the NICU. It is called a Skin 2 Skin Snuggle Sling, (this product has a Patent Pending status). I am working on getting it registered with the FDA.

Sling Info:                    These slings are ONLY for Hospital use.

The parent must be recline or semi-reclined, so the sling is not supporting the infant’s entire weight. The parent must keep at least one hand on the infant at all times to support the infant & to keep the infant from accidently slipping out of the sling. The sling may need to be tightened after the parent is reclined. When the infant needs to be placed back in his/her bed, warmer or isolette or if there is an emergency & the infant needs additional medical assistance squeeze the sides of the parachute buckles to release the straps. Then the infant & parent will be freed from the sling.

Caution:                     These slings are to help support the infant during skin to skin holding & are not designed for caring infants or supporting the infant’s entire weight. These slings are only for use by a parent when they are in a reclined or semi-reclined position, not a fully upright or standing position.

When used as stated above the infant should not slip out of the sling.

Please contact me for ordering info & an order form.
