Doll Info, Options & Prices

CAUTION: These dolls are NOT toys. They contain small parts that pose a choking hazzard to small children. Please do NOT leave children unsupervised with the dolls.

    These hand-made dolls are made of knit (doll skin) fabric and come in 5 color choices. The 'joints' are made of metal buttons, plastic buttons or a combination. Most of the dolls have a fleece fabric insert and all dolls are filled with a combination of new materials: fiber fill, metal pellets & plastic doll pellets. Please only spot wash dolls as the metal parts may rust. The faces can be painted, sculpted or left blank. Click on 'doll photos' to see the different face choices!

    Every doll comes with a diaper (size that best fits the doll), a soft fleece hat (you choose the color & type: see 'doll photos' for the different types of hats), a doll tag & a 'birth certificate' (for you to fill out). The 'birth certificate' is a keepsake and is not a legal document.

    These color samples are photos. The color may vary depening on your monitor. See doll photos of the 5 skin colors!

Prices:

    These doll prices are based on your baby's weight or gestational age. Each type of filling has a different price for each size of doll. The prices include shipping in the continental United States. If you need shipping outside of the continental United States, please contact us for charges. Please choose the weight option carefully as I charge $20 if a doll is returned for the weight to be changed (this covers: re-shipping & fixing the doll).

('Real' weight: this doll is the child's real birth weight. If the doll is placed on a scale (without the hat or diaper) it will register the

child's real birth weight (depending on the scale used). This doll feels heavier than it looks. Like a child that is asleep, still born or died after birth.) Not all dolls ordered as 'Real' weight will feel heavier than they look as many very small dolls the 'Real' weight feels more like 'feels right' weight.

('Feels Right' weight: this doll is 1/2 to 2/3 of the child's real birth weight. Most of these dolls will feel the size they look. The weight feels more like a child that is awake.) Not all dolls ordered as 'Feels Right' weight will feel the size they look, as some dolls the 2/3 of the birth weight does not match with the baby's birth measurements & the doll may feel lighter than it looks.

Options:

    'Specialty' Dolls: Clubbed feet, physical malformations, ect. (congenital hip dysplasia not included).Please contact us before ordering, (please include a description & photos). See 'doll photos' of our daughter Alexia's doll (a 'specialty' doll).

    You can have the doll's legs with or without congenital hip dysplasia (no additional fees). See 'doll photos'.

    You can choose from bent arms & legs, straight arms & legs or a combination. See 'doll photos'.

    Anatomically correct (girls $3 & boys $6).

    Pipe cleaner fingers ($5 only for dolls 10" or longer), so the doll will have pose-able fingers. See 'doll photos'.

    Pipe cleaner mitts ($5 only for dolls 10" or smaller), the doll hand/mitt will be pose-able, but the thumb will not. See 'doll photos'.   

    Custom doll tag sewn into a seam on the left side of your doll ($5). You can customize it with up to 6 lines of information & up to 40 characters per line (characters include: spaces, commas, letters, numbers, ect. ).

    You can have 'hair' put on your doll ($10). These wigs are made of 100% polyester long pile shag fur. This 'hair' is soft & fluffy like real baby hair. They are custom made to your doll's head & are hand stiched on. You can trim & style it to look more like your baby's hair. To see the color choices go to accessories.     Expediting/Rush Order- If you need your doll to arrive faster than 8 weeks (for a party or other special occassion), I can expedite/rush your order. Please contact us for additional fees.
